Want to apply for staff on TangoNet?
We have several staff positions that you can apply for.
Before applying for any staff position please read the following terms that apply to all staff ranks:
1. You meet the age requirement of the specific rank
2. You can speak fluent English
3. You must remain professional in both the application and training.
4. If you are accepted for Staff you must NOT reveal any information that is not public.
5. If you are caught rule-breaking, your punishment will be the same as a member's punishment.
6. You must not ping or DM SLT to read your application. We will get to it when we can.
FAQ About Staff Applications
Why can I not apply for Senior Moderator or Admin?
We believe that ranks such as Senior Moderator and Admin are ranks that should be given
only if we see fit. The Senior Moderator applications are only open to those who are a Moderator and
have been a moderator for a month or longer.
The Admin rank is given only to Senior Moderators through a promotion and cannot be applied for, no matter the rank.
My application has not been answered for a day or longer!
When you submit an application, everyone that is apart of the SLT (Senior Leadership Team) reviews and discusses their opinions
on every application. This process can take a few hours, to a few days at most. No application goes unanswered and
even if your application has not been answered to for a while, we assure you that your
application will be noticed. Please do not ping
or mention your application in public chats as we will look over it and mentioning your application may affect the result of your application.
My application has been denied! What now?
If you application has been denied, then that is the result that the SLT have all decided on. If your application has been denied,
please do not make another application for at least 10 days from your previous application. If you create another application when your
application has been denied within 10 days, then your application will be automatically denied.
If you apply after the 10 days of denial, then we will review your application as usual.
My application has been accepted. What now?
While we cannot release the exact process, you will have a training period where we will discuss your permissions,
duties and everything else you would need to know about your role as staff. If there are any
questions during this period, there are multiple times where you are allowed to ask questions
and get to understand more about the staff team and how we operate.
Can I take a break as staff?
Yes! Staffing is a very tough and stressful job and we understand that you might need to take a break for a while.
If your application is accepted, we will talk about taking staff breaks in your training.
Is there a playtime requirement?
We ask that you have at least 4 hours of playtime on the Server before considering applying.
This is so you can get a feel for the server and so that we know you have played the server rather than
applying right away.
When will I get promoted?
There is no set time on when we do promotions, however if you are seen contributing a lot to the community and are
actively doing your staffing duties, then the SLT team can look into promotion. Please do not ask
to be promoted, as that can affect your chances on being promoted.
